Description
Clean Used 2001 Yamaha VMax 225 HP 3.1L EFI V6 2-Stroke 20″ Outboard Motor. Part of the Motor ID decal missing. Model number VX225TLRZ. Weight – 488 lbs. 120-130 psi compression on all 6 cylinders. The previous owner rebuilt and welded/patched a damaged spot on either side of the block (see photo, more photos available). Has been in use for quite a while, so seems to be a functioning repair. The lower unit is missing a water pickup screen. Additional water pickup holes and exhaust relief holes have been drilled into the lower unit housing (see photos). The lower Unit has been pressure tested. Starts and runs well. Has good compression.
The motor has been inspected and is ready to mount and run. Freight Shipping is
available from our warehouse directly to your address.

It is the sole responsibility of the receiving party to fully inspect the product at the time of delivery
for any potential damage. We recommend removing any protective wrapping to fully inspect the product
before the driver leaves. If damage did occur during transit, all damage must be noted on the Bill of
Lading in detail and SIGNED BY THE DRIVER. A copy of the Bill of Lading will need to be emailed or
mailed to our address in order for a damage claim to be filed with the trucking company on
our customer’s behalf. When possible, please photograph the damaged product on the truck and off the
truck for evidence that will assist with a product damage claim. The damaged product must be held in the
customer’s possession for up to 2 months. The shipping company has the right to inspect and/or claim the
product if a damage claim is filed and/or paid by them.
